I use a glass vial, I don't know how the chemicals would react with plastic. I use a syringe that is marked with ml increments. I dose according to weight per animal. Check with your vet on the correct dosage. This only applies to households with multiple small animals. If you have only one animal it wouldn't make sense. If you have only large animals it wouldn't make sense. If your vet doesn't back your doing it and you have a good working relationship with your vet, don't jeopardize that relationship. If your vet understands what you are doing and will explain the dosage requirements to you then follow those recommendations. Everyone has to find what works for them. I would not feel comfortable buying the meds themselves on eBay, but I do on 1800PedMeds. Others wouldn't buy them online, period. There is room for most everyone. YMMV. |
