These are great sites. You can google raw feeding also. It seems that everyone believes something a tad different: some like adding vegies, others vitamins, and some believe to home cook their food. It's all what you believe, but yes, I feed strictly raw meaty bones and what goes with the prey model diet. My husband loves to hunt so mine get a lot of deer, elk, and game birds. But in the off-season when things are more scarce they get a lot of chicken which I do buy from the grocery store. The stuff that we can eat. In North Dakota it is against the law to go to a butcher for scraps of what people don't want after they bring in their animals for butchering. It stinks cause it's a ton of food going to waste! But if you can get hooked up with a butcher you could get stuff for really cheap if not free. Good luck with your research!
