|  Can rawfed dogs eat smoked meat? I got a ton of smoked sausage from a hunter who was getting rid of last year's meat. Is it okay to feed to the dogs as it's smoked?

| I wouldn't. Sausage is fatty. I bet you would get an upset tummy and the nutritional value is not high. Sorry, but I'd pass. |

| I'm not sure about the smoked part, but definitely don't feed them sausage!! Most pork is just too fatty for them, and can lead to pancreatitis.

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator  | I wouldn't give it... smoked food is known to have more carcinogens in it...so it may not be a good idea to give it.
