| Limpy For a time I have noticed that our dog is limping. At first, I thought he was just walking funny, since each dog can kinda walk its own way, and he has always behaved like a puppy. Quite recently, though, it has become a major limp. I have thoroughly rubbed the leg and hip area and he has no pain. What could this be? There is no other symptoms other than limping (no swelling, heat, etc.). I cant afford to go to the vet just yet - saving money. I am afraid they are going to tell me he needs a $3000 surgery or something. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what this might be. PS - I will take him to the vet, so please dont only respond "Take him to the vet" - I plan to do this, but would like to see if there are things I can do at home to help. |
