Do dogs get poison ivy? I noticed some whole walking Roxy this evening & wondered if they break out from it like humans do. Don't think I've ever seen it mentioned.

I'm not sure if they can get it like we do, but I do know you can get it from them. If they brush against the plant and the oil gets on them and you touch them, you can get it that way...don't ask how I know this.

Thanks, that was helpful. I knew some animals don't usually get it but didn't know about dogs. I figured a person could if the oil was on the dog.
