Need to post again sorry messed up attachments |
To the OP - the frequency and consistency of the poo you're describing could be a concern. At the pup's age, getting a fecal test would be a good idea. There are better foods out there than what you're feeding, in terms of ingredient sourcing, history, etcetera. Some better brands are Orijen, Innova EVO Small Bites, Solid Gold Barking at the Moon, Wellness (avail. at Petco/Petsmart). Are you near a feed store at all? Oftentimes, feed stores sell very good dog food. :) |

I am feeding Royal Canin, but would like to change to a higher-grade food soon. I live in South Africa, so I don't have access to Wellness, Solid Gold or any of your great foods. I found a holistic pet nutritionist who makes raw food for dogs. Please check it out and let me know if it is good or not. I am a little confused as to what the nutritional requirements are exactly. The nutritionist site is www.vondis.co.za |
What I like about the Wellness is that it also has vitamins and minerals mixed in. I try to get Mandie to eat the dry dog food, but since her baby teeth are still sorta falling out, its hard for her. So this way she gets everything she is supposed to have. (I didn't realize how bad pedigree, beneful, and cesars were till i looked up the qualites...) Thank god I found something she will eat!!!!!! |
i feed milu a couple of different foods, you can check them out and see if that's something you would like to feed your furbaby. 1. natures variety raw medallions (Nature's Variety) 2. taste of the wild kibbles (Taste of the Wild : Home) 3, natures variety freez dried raw (Nature's Variety) another food that i would like to try is halo's pet food (Natural Pet Care Products from Halo) |

Great information! My guys are on Blue Buffalo, but after reading this, I guess I will be switching. To be honest with you, they really dont care for it too much anyway. |
I feed Pepper, Wellness Small Breed. It is a really small kibble. He is small, maybe 4 lbs and most kibble was too big and he wouldn't eat it. He loves the Wellness. |
I give my girls Natural Balance duck small bites:thumbup::thumbup: |
