				 | help...my dog has gas, what can I give him one of my dogs has the worst gas ever . What can I give him to help with this. the only thing I can think that is causing this is we are in the middle of switching foods to Wellness. Should I continue with the transition or go back to the old food?

				 | You can give him a 1/4 of a tab of Pepto pink tabs. No matter which food you transition to it'll probably keep happening...I'd keep going for two to three weeks and see what happens. Pepto always helps my dogs gas...Good-Luck...

				 | Mylicon drops for infants are good for gas. Lady had terrible gas on Wellness. I gave up on it. I have heard others with the same complaint. |

				 | Sometimes Clarence get gas build up...I can tell from his tummy. Believe it or not, I burp him like a baby. He feels so much better after he lets one rip. 6.5# & he can burp like a human! |

				 | thanks for the responses. Maybe I will try the food for a few more weeks and see how it goes, I read another string of posts which indicated it might be the combination of foods causing it and give them some chance to only be on the one food for a few weeks. When I say this gas is bad, I mean it is bad, we all need gas masks to be around him .

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What are the major ingredient differences in the 2 foods? It may help to look at that. I'd probably give it a little time, but not a whole lot if it continues.

				 | Help with horrible gas problem No matter what the dog food, my doberman gets horrible gas. My yorkie is fine w/ the food changes and has (luckily) never had gas but the dobie is rancid....I've heard that you can give them beano, but haven't tried it yet. Anyone else know? Would save our noses and possibly the paint on our walls. She's always had this problem and we've had her on the most expensive dog foods and some cheaper brands with no difference. Any help PLZ???? |

				 | Jackson had a lot of gas when I switched his food, but it lasted for about 3 weeks and now it's definitely basically gone. He lets out a stinker every once in a while tho! :P
