You have a couple options- you could wait and have your vet try again, you could get a second opinion, or you be referred to a clinic that is confident in working on tiny dogs.
I don't know if there is more to it than what you posted (as far as your vet's concerns) but it really sounds like he wasn't comfortable and didn't want to risk your pup's life, which is commendable. However, if that was the case, I wish he would have sent you somewhere else. |
