I am so glad that your baby is finally home and on his way to recovery. I honestly canNOT imagine what you are going through. I know that this has got to be very stressful for you. We are so protective of our babies, aren't we? Thank you for sharing pictures. Lil Hot Rod just blesses my heart. I feel so sad for him and Maggie. I hope they don't feel as though they are being punished either! I always tell my husband I wish we could sit down our furbabies and talk to them like they are human beings... but I have to remind myself they are dogs so that they will understand the situation or will know/understand what is best for them. Hmm... Hot Rod is a looker though hehe and I swear in the last "jail pic" he is smiling. hehe

I agree! It would so much easier if we could just talk with them. lol. Hot Rod does look like he's smiling in that picture. I hadn't noticed.

It is SO GREAT to hear that Hot Rod is doing well. I know it sucks when they want out to play so badly, but it's even worse when they just feel bad. Ryder is in the "I want out!!" stage, but Ranger is happy to be in his crate.

I am glad! I told you that you would feel so much better. You poor girl, you have double the whammy of keeping them still and quiet. Maggie is just as rambuncous (sp) as ever! She just runs and bounces all over the place trying to play with Hot Rod. I've been putting her in the expen when I feed Hot Rod and she hates it! She whines and cries the entire time.

Poor little Ranger, he'll perk up in day or so and bounce back to normal in no time!

Yes, I am glad I did it, now. How about you? Any misgivings?

NONE!! I explained it all in Ranger's thread (don't want to hijack yours). Poor Maggie, she is just a DOLL by the way, I love the pic of them sunning!!

Awww, thanks. He's doing well. I just feel so bad for him, he does not want to be in his crate! I tried to put him in after breakfast and he didn't want anything to do with it! Last night is was so squirmy in my arms, he want so much to play with Maggie, that I had to put him back in his crate. Hubby took him in the garage and let him stretch his legs. He still wasn't "talking" to me this morning. lol.

It's going to be a very long 4 weeks and 6 days!

Hot Rod is soooo ready to get out of his crate and play. Poor baby looked so pathetic the other night, he had his litte cute nose right in the corner of the crate looking at me. I melted and stopped whatever it was I was doing and took him out and held him. I couldn't resist that sweet little face.

5 more weeks of this. It is going to be a very, very long 5 weeks!

I missed these pictures and they are so sweet. Maggie May got as close as she could to be by her buddy

Hey everyone, Hot Rod used his little leg to potty! He hobbled around the pad and then decided to put his leg down and took 2 steps! He picked it up and hobbled some more and put his leg down again and took a step and picked it up!!! I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a fluke but he did it the next potty break too! Yay! Happy dance!

AWESOME!!! Go Hot Rod GO!! See girl, I told ya he would start using it in no time! And now that he's seen that he CAN use it, he will more than likely start to use it more and more often I AM SO PROUD!! Hugs to that sweet boy from me and the Tator Tot!
