| I would also like to know what would make my 13 week old baby's hair thin down his back and on his head. I really noticed it tonight when I gave him a bath. At first I thought that maybe his back was due to his harness sliding around but his hair on his head is thinning also. I'm really worried about him!!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Since she is a young puppy, mange would be my first thought; ringworm would be another thought (doesn't have show a "ring" in dogs). A vet could do a fungal culture and skin scraping to diagnose.

| Your female pup may actually have a different coat type than the others in the litter. Some puppies when they start to 'break' on their heads will appear to be bald because of the hair changing colors. Is she breaking to a light cream color on her head? |
