| ![]() Alex has been eating very good, this morning he ate 2 teaspoons dry, 1 teaspoon wet and about 1/4 of a teaspoon apple sauce -- he seems to eat better with a little apple sauce mixed in. I do leave his dry out all day. Will the apple sauce hurt him? As you know the first couple of days at home he wouldn't eat good so I tried the apple sauce now he loves to eat. He will even sit at my feet and cry while I'm fixing his food and when I put it down he dives in. He eats about 4 times a day that mix and his dry off and on during the day. Could anybody please tell me something about the apple sauce! Thanks

| ![]() Apple sauce should be fine, in small quantities - my Lucy eats raw apple quite happily, so as long as the sauce isn't sweetened (or out of a jar), I think you can stop worrying - especially if it helps him eat.

| ![]() Apple sauce will not hurt him if it is given in moderation. I'm not sure if any companies add artificial sweetener, so read the label carefully.

| ![]() The kind in the jar in fine. If you don't want him to have the sugar, they do make a kind with only apples as an ingredient.

| ![]() I give Pistol baby food applesauce. No sweeteners, no fillers, no corn syrup, and all apple. He doesn't get it everyday, he sometimes gets blueberry baby food too. The First foods jars are small so not much waste. |
