Can I give regular human fish oil to my puppies ?

Hi everybody, i cant get too much yorkies !! so i got two more
the breeder told me he put one softgel in there food.thats 1200mg for human use.
they have the most soft and shiny coat i have ever seen in a yorkie.
but my question is ....
is this safe? or i need to use pet supplements?

Just remember that when you give fish oil, you must also give vit E as a dog's body needs that to process it. I didn't like messing w/ capsules, so I'm now using a liquid - so much easier - it's Ark Naturals Royal Coat, which has fish oil, vit a/d/e, and borage oil (great for skin, it has GLA).

Do you know if the Grizzly Alaskan Salmon Oil contain vitamin E? I went to their website and can not find the info. I guess I can go home and check the bottle and look for the ingredients. If it does not contain vitamin E, how much should I give for one that weighs at 4.5 lbs and another at 1.8 lbs? Also, do I use human vit E or is their pet Vit E??

Not sure about Grizzly. Giving 10 IU of E is fine - pet or human.
