| She snorts like a pig My 3 yr.old 4 lb. yorkie has always snorted like a pig.. Several months ago she was given kennell cough vaccine nasally and ever since has been sneezing. When it became severe the vet put her on an antihistimine. No change. Several weeks later she was put on Clindamycin 5 days later she was put under so a more through exam could be done.. Slightly enlarged toncils and teeth scraped were the results. Now that the meds have been completed with little to know improvement I'm wondering about the next step. Prednisone was suggested but I have rejected it becouse of previous bad experience and the bad side effects. Can anyone offer any offer any advise? What about natural meds? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | They put her under to examine her? Why? Was it bc they wanted a better look down her throat? I don't understand what exactly the diagnosis is - have they said?

| The only way to look down her throat was to put her under. There is no diagnosis other that enlasrged tonsils. Before I have to take her to the Univerrwity vet school for C scan and or other costly treatmentts was hoping someone can tell me of similar experience and or natural remendy that they have had luck with. |
