I had not heard of this brand until I saw a commercial for an upcoming show on QVC. Evidently Ellen deGeneres is part owner. Any comments about it?

I don't feed it myself, but I've met a lot of people with gorgeous dogs that do. I always ask what people feed when I meet somebody with a particularly healthy-looking dog-- that's one of the brands that is mentioned pretty often.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halo products. I make the Spots Stew for my 3 yorkies every two weeks and freeze it. That's all they eat. The canned food is expensive and they now offer dry, which I supplement sometimes. Their entire product line I highly recommend. I even use the supplements and treats. No problems at all.
I started with the book 8 weeks to a healthy pet on their website and have been an avid fan every since. My boys have been on the Spots Stew since Jan 07.

I contacted the web site when it came out inquiring about samples...They never responded to any of my requests....

What do you mean by making it.?..I thought it was either canned or dry...Does it come another way...Just curious...

The Pet Food List. Pet Food brands, manufacturers, products, ingredients, sources, cat, dog, food.
Some people are probably pickier about this than other but the location that it is made at is proprietary. In other words, it could be made at the worst manufacturing plant in the US and nobody would know...

I thought this too... I went and looked on their site and they list a bunch of recipes that are based on what they sell.

we use liv-a-little salmon treats for the girls..we haven't used anything else beside that treat from Halo. My girls love the treats!

The location where the food is produced is proprietary. I would rather know exactly where a dog food is made so that I could read about the facility. I guess it depends on how much you trust the company.
