| Am I feeding the right thing for pancreatitis? My Trixie was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I still don't think she had it because she didn't have the vomiting or the diareah. Just a fever for a week and very weak and listless. I personally think she just had an infection because she was in the hospital on iv fluids and antibiotics. Then she was back to her old self. Anyway I am feeding her as if she has pancreatitis. I have the royal canin low fat from the vet. I am going to try mixing it with Wellness core reduced fat. Any ideas?? I am also feeding this to my other 2 babies. I was just concerned about the high protein in the wellness.

| Did the vet test her lipase or do a Spec test? or is the vet just guessing? Layla has pancreatitis and has NO symptoms either- i found out through blood work- it is VERY important to keep their food low fat. I'd check with your vet to make sure the proper tests were done. |

| How was it diagnosed? Can you post the guaranteed analysis for the Wellness?
