:animal36 I feed KiKi Wellness Puppy (kibble) and I pour it into a container first and dish out portions from there and I have never had a problem with it. |

Also, that piece of food that has the sharp edge is sitting on the table before he pours out the cup. I agree that there may be some bones, but not to the extent the video person made it out to be. |
ok..I just lied before when I said I didn't find anything in my bag of Wellness Fish. Last night I looked in Maymes bowl and something white caught my eye. It was a small piece of bone tucked into the kibble. Granted, it was nothing like this video...nor did it feel sharp, but it was definately a bone (couldn't cut it) about the size of the tip of a sharpie marker. So inspect EACH kibble closely! I've started cutting her kibbles in two to make extra sure. |
Did I read in this thread that when humans eat fish, they eat bones too? Maybe I'm thinking of another thread but if I come across a fish bone, I certainly don't eat it and if I did, it would be chewed well. Ellie tends to gulp her food (well she gulps soft food and who knows how well she chews kibble) and I would not let her eat anything with sharp pieces. I guess I'd be inspecting every kibble. By the time that is done, you have time to homecook.:p |
Geesh...I got scared for a second when I read the title. I have been feeding the Wellness Puppy, but I don't think it has fish. I looked and looked for a good food and was happy to finally pick one. (and scared I would hav to switch) |
I will say that I have never fed my guys any type of Wellness food, but the bones that are in this video are just like the ones that I found in our bag of Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Fish. I have nothing to gain one way or the other by telling this....other than (hopefully) warning others to double-check their kibble. Also, I read somewhere that another member (I believe her name is AmandaWalsh) said that she used to give NB sweet potato and fish kibble to her boys as treats....she stopped because she found a lot of bones, too. :( Like I said, I cannot speak for the Wellness, but his video does look just like what my husband and I found in the NB.
