				   | I just gave my baby a bath a few days ago, and now that he has been eating his dog food, the hair around his mouth smells really bad!!! I hate to cut it back, because I just love the length. Is there something that I can use between baths to keep his face hair clean???

				   | I buy the puppy baby wipes that smell powder fresh. They are PERFECT for those in between times! |

				   | Just use a wash cloth or soft toothbrush and wash his face more frequently. I frequently just stop by the sink and give my little girl a quick face wash. You probably don't need shampoo each time, just a little rinse to get the yukky stuff off. I actually have more concerns about eye gook, myself.

				   | I wash my pup's face with just a damp wash cloth every once in a while...especially under the eyes. He doesn't like it, of course, but we're done before he knows what's going on. **** I also wash around his hiny occasionally with just a damp cloth. Carol Jean |

				   | Give your dog distilled water to drink instead of tap water. The trap water had minerals that cause the staining and smell. It also helps to produce less tears. This is especially helpful for light colored dogs that have the red face staining. |

				   | wash the face frequently, and if they are face shy like my little gal, start slowly. She does a great job washing her 'stache and beard, but she still needs help. I get burts and Bees wipes for under her eyes and on her little girly parts, and then tropic-clean wipes for issues like not being able to bathe for two weeks due to spay or something else going on, and there is always a spray you can put on as well. Despite the distilled water, stank beard issue is an ongoing battle, so we are sure to keep on top of it. |
