is this normal? Hey everyone! I have a question about the tooth losing situation. Today my sister in law was watching Mia, and said that Mia was chewing really hard, and her mouth started bleeding a little. She looked in her mouth and sure enough, one of her teeth was missing. Is it normal for her to bleed when she loses her teeth? She is my first dog, and I don't know what is normal. please help!

It's normal. Each time Sophie has lost a tooth, I've noticed a little bit of blood in her mouth and on a chew toy. Are you keeping her teeth for your scrapbook?

whewww ok, thanks. I really want to keep at least one of her teeth, but since I wasn't there today when she lost it, I wasn't able to save this one. I will be keeping a close eye on her when she is chewing from now on. Then... the tooth fairy can bring her a treat!!! Thanks for the help!
