| Is my yorkie normal???? My little girl weighs 3 lbs..is 10 inches in length and 9 in girth...her neck is 6 inches around. Shes 10 months old. The reason I ask...is that when I try and purchase clothing for her...the xsmall always seems to be made to fit dogs that are 8 inches in length with girths much larger.... Is she just abnormally long???? Please help...Im tired of not being able to find clothing that fits her properly! |

| The Yorkie I might adopt has a 10" girth and is 10" in length, so I have the same problem. You might want to try a person that can do custom dog clothes. I haven't exactly found anyone that does that yet .. Let me know if you do! |

| Yes, the custom fit clothes are needed for a lot of yorkies. They just make them a bit too short usually. Our problem with nadia is that she is too fluffy and that makes clothes that fit around her WAY WAY too long. LOL

| Your little girl sounds just fine to me! Most yorkies are longer bodied and store bought clothes tend to run shorter. All of my fashions are custom made. I'll be happy to help you with your little furbaby's wardrobes! |
