| Switching - again! Need some opinion! Well, Bentley seems to have stopped fur-biting and his hair looks like it's growing back slowly but steadily. As of now, he's on Wellness Super5Mix (Lamb, barley, & salmon meal).. my vet said it might've been a food allergy; as well as some other factors. He seems to really like Wellness so I was thinking of maybe switching to another Wellness Formula, preferably Wellness Core or Wellness Core Ocean. Any thoughts or suggestions on other good foods?

| There are many quality brands out there. Just read the labels and make sure there is no corn, no wheat or soy, and no by-products. Good luck! |

YT 2000 Club Member | I have recently switched my dogs to Taste of the Wild, high praire which contains buffalo and venison along with fruits and veggies. Its grain free food. They love it. My sheltie had issues with itching and he has stopped, my beagle and toy poodle had really runny eyes/eye staining and all that has stopped too. They make a few other kinds and I found the price to be very reasonable.

| I would recommend the Wellness Small Breed formula, fish is the primary protein source. It is 28% protein versus the 22% in the lamb formula are feeding right now. I have not tried the Wellness Core forumlas which I believe are about 32% protein.

| For possible allergies I would recommend Natural Balance either Sweet Potato and Fish or Potato and Duck. They are a limited ingredient diet of extremely high quality and have done wonders for lots of allergy dogs that I know of! It's the kibble I feed my boys when they get kibble (they are fed NV raw).
