| Chloe is a picky eater..help!! So far Chloe has been doing extremely well, epsically with her potty training. The only thing that bothers me is that she dose'nt eat that much. I know she is small(not even 1lb probably) and eight weeks, but I want make sure she is eating enough. The breeder was giving her Proplan for Small Breeds and this wet food called Advantage. She seems to like the can food more, so I mix that in with the hard. Yesterday she ate on and off..but not as much as I would like her to. My brother thinks i am just giving her too much.So this is the question, what can I give her to entice her to eat more and what amount should I be giving her? Also I was thinking of adding a bit of canned milk into her food for moistens...??? |

♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | Bella is 6 mo. old and 3.8 lbs., and she probably only eats 1/4 c. per day total. She has always been like this, and the only time she eats more than that is if we have just switched to a brand new food. I'm also a little worried she isn't eating enough. She pees and poops plenty , but I feel her ribs too. I think maybe I'm supposed to feel her ribs, but how can you tell when they're too skinny?? (there's so much hair it's impossible to see the way you would on a short coated dog) |
