It may very well be true for a few brands but nobody is there watching.
This is one of the reasons that it is a good idea to not buy a food that has animal fat or animal digest as an ingredient. Why can't they get more specific? Maybe because they rotate ingredients or maybe because they don't know what it is... It really is impossible to know for sure.
The meat used is mostly leftovers (by-products) and using diseased animals wouldn't be unheard of. |
