| Constipation Our 3 year yorkie is constipated. He hasn't had a bowel movement for at least 2 days and is miserable. What should we do? |

| You should call your vet for advice. You might try giving him some canned pumpkin-it's a very natural thing to correct the digestive tract. It works when they have diarrhea to stop them up a bit, and works as a very mild laxative when they are constipated. I would try 1-2 teaspoons and see what happens. Definitely if he doesn't poop by tomorrow get that furbaby to a vet! Also, make sure he's eating and drinking normally, and push fluids as possible-ice cubes are great.
