| Turtle not eating! When we first got Duckie (my female Yorkie), Turtle (my male Yorkie) basically stopped eating for about two days. Since then, Duckie will eat her bowl of food and then push Turtle out of the way and finish his bowl. I tried seperating the bowls so I can make it harder for her but that was mildly successful. But, since yesterday, Turtle hasn't been eating more than a few bites. He will eat a few more if I hand feed him but it is hardly enough. What should I do? |

| Sounds familiar...:-) Mine did the same thing when we introduced a new puppy into the family. I finally got Pippa to eat her food with a little cottage cheese mixed in, and had to separate Scout from her at feeding time for awhile. She acted offended if little Scout came over to eat out of her bowl, so she would just walk away and not eat. Now they are used to each other, she does fine, although she's always been picky. Scout plays cleanup with her leftovers. Just give it some time, Turtle is still adjusting to the newcomer. Have Nutrical on hand and give it to him a few times a day if he's not eating well. Good luck!
