I'm so happy, I want to hug all of you :ghug:
and thank you for your continued prayers, thoughts, cards, phone calls, and support during the last few months. There was a time I thought she wouldn't make it but you would never know she was nearly a vegatable to look at her now. She's so alert and full of vinegar! See her thread in the Emergency forum at Tink is really sick again.

I got to see her walk tonight after work. Barb called me about 6:30 to tell me she thought Tink was about to walk really soon. So I left the office and went over there. When I walked in the patio door Tink was walking through the den all by herself! She was wobbling all over the place and her back legs kept acting like they were going to give out but they didn't. When she got tired, she just sat or layed down for a bit. Barb said she had just started walking a few minutes before I got there. So, we kept her going with treats and her kong.

It was so wonderful to see her up and moving under her own power.
It won't be long now and she'll be home for good!:D

That is wonderful. Praise the Lord for that. You are a wonderful mommy and you have been through so much with her. And she is a very special little angel. I just got home from work to a message from Barb that "Tink is wiggling her little butt all over the house!" I guess that now when she's walking her bottom sashays from side to side so much it makes Barb laugh. But that's OK. She'll get it under control soon. I bet by this weekend she will be walking like a runway model!

My dear, precious girl. I hope you know how happy Uncle Charlie felt when Momma read to me that you are walking. All of the tears and prayers gave you and your Momma strength to go on and both get well.

I will tell you a secret. ;) When I walk, my Momma says I prance and my (clearing throat to maintain decorum since you are such a wee lassie) tooshie swings. My Momma loves to watch me because she says "Charlie, your caboose is so cute".

We can't wait to see a picture of you, Tink. I like that you have a new thread. Please give your Momma a hug from Uncle Charlie and his Momma. As for you, even though you are too young for Uncle Charlie, my heart flutters when I think of your beautiful, black hair and brown eyes.

We will always be special friends, Tink and remember "no lingerie pictures because the boys will once again try to escape and run away to your house". Boy, Winston and Bernie got in a lot of trouble the last time.

Momma is taking me on vacation so I won't be talking with you for about a week. But, I will think about you and send you healing thoughts while I am gone.
