If the answer is no to all the above then i am sure there are enough of us with experience to get you thru it . Its hard to answer when you haven't asked specific questions and if i start then i may say something that will get you worried when you don't need to be . Perhaps others on here have a written guide - mine is all in my head after all these years but i will be glad to help you - pm me if you wish and lets see how much you already know that you don't even realize you know

| The breeder that bred Lola is going to be out of town when she is supposed to have her pups, but she told me that there is another breeder in my area and she was going to see if she couldd help if needed. I could call my vet. Yes this is my first time. I have been watching videos and my breeder told me I just want have it down so I do not forget. If everything goes well this is what I got. 1) pup comes out. 2)break open the sack and keep it away from the mouth. 3) Wipe its face, 4)clear out any mucas from its nose and mouth with a baby susker. 5)this is where I'm not sure do I tie the cord? or stimulate it first. let me know if I am right and the rest. If a pup is not out within an hour is that when I worry? Thanks again, Christina |
