| Teething? & not Eating.... Hi everyone! I hope your are all doing fine. I was wondering if it is normal for puppies that are teething to not want to eat? ( soft or kibble). Nikki is 6 months old. I was thinking of calling the vet, but I did not want to overreact.

| She will take a couple of bites but that's all. She has been like this for about 3days. She is playful and greets everyone happily. No other signs that I can see.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | My vet said that puppies experience some discomfort during teething, but not as much as human babies, who often get ill during this time. Puppies do go through growth spurts, and perhaps she just isn't hungry, but I think I would measure the food I was giving her, and also weigh her, and see if she's losing weight. This way, you will be able to give the vet a more detailed report if she continues not eating.

| Do you only feed her dry food? If so, maybe try feeding her some good wet food. It might be much easier for her to eat.

| Thank You Thank you all for your advice. Nikki is pooping and she does eat both foods (soft & dry ) the only thing she really wants to eat is baby carrots, maybe because they are cold??? I am thinking of calling the vet tomorrow, just in case.. Thank you all again! NIKKI & MOMMY
