| Expecting question Dixie and Bentley may be expecting...won't know for about 3 weeks...for sure, but we are pretty optimistic!!! Anyhow...do female dogs have any symptoms...like we do? Dixie kind lays around, doesn't bounce alot. Didn't know if she feels like I did when I was pregnant, or what!!!!

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | My Lexie had a bout of morning sickness the first or second week after mating; I don't remember her being more clingy or lazy as I have heard some people say. By the 4th week or so I was pretty convinced she was PG as her belly looked ever so slightly fuller. I think it was in the 5th week of pregnancy that we had it confirmed and an xray a week before her due date to check on the number of pups & their approximate size. Good luck to you. BTW, if she is even possibly PG, she should be on a puppy food diet.

| Yea...she didn't have any morn sickness...but is really klingy to me and snappy to Bentley...I felt the same way towards Tim...hmmm...defintly my daughter, huh! Yes, she is on a puppy diet. We have had both of them on it forever. The vet said it would be better for them since they are small. Any homemade recipes you guys can recommend for her...as she gets bigger? The vet said it is too early to physically tell...which I knew, but I am looking everyday for a bump. I remember when She-Ra was close to the end of her first preg...she snapped at my dtr for bouncing around her...then she looked at me like...I am so sorry mom...I can't believe I just did that! You could tell she was embarassed! Dixie she lazies around...when I hollar for her, she looks at me like...can't you come over here!!! Spoiled princess!!!
