| I had the same problem with frontline! I now use Advantage (spelling) and I have not had the problem. My neighbor has lots of cats and tall grass so i went to Home Depot and they helped my husband pick out a spray that could be sprayed around the parameter of our yard. My vet also gave us an add'l tick collar for add'l safety during the height of the season. Good luck, call your vet and visit your local pet store.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | There are flea/tick granules that we've used in the past, I believe Ortho is the brand. Treating the yard and using Revolution has kept things under control. I've tried more natural remedies but they really didn't work well for us and living near the woods ticks and fleas are a problem.

| We use Revolution, and we've never seen a tick or flea on our boys. I was at the ER a couple weeks ago, and a mom had brought her daughter in because of a tick. I overheard the dr. saying that ticks are absolutely horrible this year. I didn't hear him say why, and I don't even know if he meant all over or just around this area.

| Yes the ticks are awful this year...even in cold Wisconsin.....we never have ticks in our yard but we have found 3 SO FAR . The vet told me that ticks will still get on your pet with frontline but when the tick bites the dog it will die instead of embedding itself in the pet.... |

| I put Advantix on my dog about 3 weeks ago, and since then I've found 3 ticks. I'm scared to death that there are more on her.... I, too, need to find something that works! |

| We found a tick today on Turbo, but it was dead. Like the other poster stated, no matter what you use, they can still get on the pet but when they bite in they die. Some you will still have to pick off, others seem to fall off. This is what I have always heard though. I use Frontline plus also.

Donating YT Addict | We have a terrible tick problem here in Maine. I use Advantix and haven't found any on Ozzy but I found one on me not attached thank god. BLECK!!! I hate those things. I need to look into treating the perimeter of our yard too.
