My puppy eats poo. My 7 month puppy Billi is doing something really gross, she keeps eating her poo. She doesn't eat it all the time but we've seen her doing it twice this week. Does anyone know why she's doing this?:) |
EEEhhhhuuhhhhhhck!!! It is called "coprophagia" or something spelled closed to that !!! You can reaserch on this name and you will find many diferent explanations and solutions you may want to try.... mine did it for a while then stoped TG!!!! But i would read on it so you know what it is.... |

Many breeds of dogs do this but I think yorkies are top dog poop eaters. Maybe we should have a club here for this since we have so many other clubs. lol. I know it's gross but I've had yorkies for 20 years and so do it, some don't. I've tried every remedy known and never found one that was sucessful. Good Luck. Signed. YT poop eaters club organizer |

hi, I had a Lhasa that did that too it's incurable, she also atewe cat poop if she could get at it gross! |
CAT POOP! The delicacy of all poop! Mine would get it if they could. We have rabbits that poop right outside of the fence and the babies run to get it and fight eachother to see who can stick their nose or front paws threw the fence toget the poop! why do we even bother buying the really expensive food when they want POOP!!!!!! That's like giving a kid an expensive gift and they want the box! |
Hey, guys!!! Free treats in Bella's back yard!! Let's go:animal37 |

Garrett picked up that nasty little habit too. Honestly I think he did it for attention though, cause the times he did it were say for instance I was sleeping and wouldn't play with him. Or if I went downstairs and left him alone. Sooooooo, after doing some research here on YT, I decided to try pineapple, so far so good, he hasn't "eaten" any poop since, HOWEVER, he did decorate the bathroom with it yesterday while I was taking a nap :( I think he may have figured out the purpose of the pineapple though, cause now when I give it to him, he barks at it before, during and after eating it :D Give it a try........... |
I heard that there are a few reasons why they do this..... 1. their moms did it 2. there food is not very good... ( not healthy) and there where a couple of other reasons I just forgot them... |
