Too bad our dogs cannot share with us--it would be so helpful. Short of that, I am very sad to hear of your dogs behaviors but chin up--it will improve with TIME. But please, in the future DO NOT ALLOW HER TO HAVE COMBO SHOTS...our little dogs cannot handle these..trust me they cannot. Vaccines are the single most hurtful thing we can do TO our dogs and except for the Rabies and the state laws, no dog really ever needs a booster of ANY KIND AGAIN. Why? Because you learn about TITERS and when you get that harmful and stupid card from your vet that says, "time for the booster" you DO NOT SIMPLY TAKE YOUR VET'S WORD FOR IT (they are in business and never forget this!! And most of their business involves selling drugs just like people doctors) AND GET YOUR DOG BOOSTERED. You ask, possibly demand Titering. This way, except for the Rabies every three years (and really most dogs are good for life after the first rabies vaccine but STATE LAW AND GREED state we must vaccinate them anyway--esp Rabies).

Your dog sounds like a classic case of vaccination trauma..no, OVER vaccination trauma. If you continue to see this scary behavior from her get your vet (I HATE MYSELF FOR SAYING THIS BUT IT MAY BE NECC.) to give her a shot of benadry. I believe, sight unseen, that your pooch is having a bit of an allergic reaction. And that other poster may be right about a trauma at the vets office on top of overvaccinatiing your little one.

Last year I got serious about feeding and not vaccinating my three dogs again (except for the dreaded rabies and since I travel I dare not let this one go) and now I TITER. I cannot believe that I did anything else over the years..how awful it is for these dogs to have us putting all that unnecessary poison into their systems.

I hope that you pooch is doing much better by now. And by the way, if you haven't done so already, PLEASE GET YOUR YORKIE ON A PROBIOTIC NOW...after being overvaccinated her immune system is totally compromised since the shots killed all the good bacteria in her system. you must replace these with a plant based probiotic. I know from experience how important this is. Contact me privately if you want more info.

AND I PRAY TO GOD THAT YOUR LITTLE ONE IS NOW ON THE MEND. I hope like crazy that you took this writing seriously because I am not talking thru my hat...been there, done that, that is for sure. YorkieSue

One point of view. I'm vaccinating all my babies: fur and skin. Not Lepto, Not Corona -- they aren't needed here. Sorry, just another point of view.

I have never heard of titers, and after alot of research on the internet, what you have written is so true.
