You were lucky if that happened, none of my childhood pets lived very long, especially the uncastrated males, they always got hit by a car or ran away. :( |
Maxx ate a raisin I think it depends on the dog. Had a Maltese that had to be rushed to the Vet 3 different times, ate a small piece of pizza that got dropped, a small ham bone, and a small piece of chicken. Each visit was $300 to keep him alive. But, he was raised on Cesar dog food that now is at the bottom of the list of healthy foods. He died at 16, we don't know why, could have been a heat stroke or a brain tumor. I am now paranoid with my Yorkie, my BH loves grapes and when he eats them while watching TV, I hold Tricksie so that she will not get one, if something is dropped, SHE IS A STREAK OF LIGHTNING!!  :confuse2: |
I was told that a small pinch of salt will make them vomit almost immediately if they have eaten something they shouldn't. Because I have small children that drop food and smart yorkies that sit right under them at the table  |
