| Cat food in Wee Bits?!?!? I got a bag of Solid Gold Wee Bits last night and when I opened it this morning there were several pieces of cat food in the bag!!! Has this ever happened to anyone? I called the store and they are going to either refund or exchange it for me. I just thought it was so weird. Makes me think twice about Solid Gold products!

| It sure does make you think twice! Did they refund/replace it for you? Sorry that happened-it's hard to know when we can even trust the commercial food manufacturers This is one of the reasons I went to homemade food. I hope they resolved this for you in a way that satisfied you.

| This if from my post about choosing a food for my puppy. I was going to feed my new puppy Solid Gold. Then I found out that "Solid Gold Dry dog foods are made at the Diamond Pet Foods processing plant." Solid Gold (pet food - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) WHAT?!!! Diamond was in the food recall mess! Also that Solid Gold said on their web site "that we have had to make the difficult decision to replace the salmon in our Barking at the Moon, WolfKing, WolfCub, and Just a Wee Bit dry dog food formulas with menhaden herring, labeled as “ocean fish”." If they can label it as "ocean fish" who knows what they can put in under that name at a later date without informing the consumer. News and Announcements
