Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I feed Natures Variety Raw Frozen, but they also make superb grain free kibbles (Instinct) and canned food (also called Instinct). Evangers is also good. I'd stay away from RC - pretty notorious for causing lots of itchy yorkies 'round this board.

| I homecook, so not much help. Royal Canin made Ellie very itchy and I do not recommend it.

| I feed mine Timberwolf Organics and Canidae. Both very good dog foods. You can read up on dog foods on this website. (Click on "Reviews and Ratings") www.dogfoodanalysis.com Most yorkie owners feed 5 Star dog foods, since 6 Star are too high in protein for yorkies.

| Franklin is on California Natural -- all of the Natura products are great, although some people are concerned about the garlic in Innova. I would stay away from RC. Don't waste your money on junky food. You can find high quality food for the same prices (or even cheaper). PS. Remember that dogfoodanalysis.com is a great site but they are biased, as everyone is. It's a good guideline but I wouldn't follow it blindly. Also, 4-6 stars are considered premium, so don't forget to count out the 4s!

| Well Layla gets home cooked food but there are times when we have to rely on kibble and she quite likes Wellness. She hasn't had Solid Gold i only know it is a great food. Wellness also makes quality wet food. |

| a grain free food, if you can get it, is wonderful. Orijen makes a grain free and so does Fromm. I'm sure many other do as well. |
