| For those that feed Nature's Variety Medallions Just a strange question...................Do you ever get use to the smell of the raw medallions? I just started feeding them to Autumn and Blaze and although they LOVE them the smell is awful and makes me want to vomit. I had my mouth covered w/a dish towel this evening when I was getting their dinner ready just so I would not smell it! (Of course my kids thought that was hysterical! ) Does anyone else have this problem?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I don't know why...but it doesn't bother me and I don't eat meat, LOL!!!!!!!!! I haven't eaten meat in 14 years! My bach. degree is in nursing - and I suppose all the horrid smells from those days just don't compare - so maybe the medallions seem "odorless" in comparison. LOL.

| i was thinking about the same thing today. i try not the breathe when i'm preparing them. i've been feeding my baby the raw medallions for about 2 weeks. i really hate the smell or texture of raw meat... i don't think i'll ever get use to the smell. i'm glad to hear someone else feels the same way. i thought it was just me... BUT, i will do anything for my baby. until i'm pregnant... then my hubby better step it up and fix the food.

| I don't think there is much of a smell. I've been feeding them over a year and a half...they've never bothered me at all.

| to you! I feed them again this morning and was gagging on the smell. Maybe I am sensitive to it for some reason! Never thought that I was but maybe I am!

| We use the Primal raw food nuggets - very similar, but they don't smell at all. (at least the chicken...we haven't tried the others - now I'm worried...I don't want stinky food!) Our pup LOVES the Primal - she hears the bag in the freezer and goes nuts! |
