Innova? Is anyone still feeding their furkids Innova since the news that came out this past week. I was feeding the dry and I think the law suit is regarding the canned. Confused:confused: What is good to feed them now???? Help Tina |
WE are working on Homecooking but I think I am switching (again) from Innova to Fromms grain free. |
do you have a website for it....did they have any bad news that you know of even at the recall breakout? Thanks Tina |
I am feeding Innova dry. I did feed a can of Innova about 3 weeks ago. But I am going to home cook. Pet foods are starting to scare me. |
Innova I have Feather on Innova. She's been on it since a baby and I will keep her on it at least until the bag is gone. I am looking at eagle pack. I would like something I can feed to all 5 dogs so I don't need to buy 2 different kinds |
I do have a bag that i was feedimg them but am a little scared now. I have little choice for the morning unless I just feed them an apple and toast. I gave them some Innova this morning cause I forgot but tonight I cooked chicken. Tina |
What kind of lawsuit? I feed one of my cats Innova Evo canned |
I can't find much info on the lawsuit but I did start a thread about it a couple days ago. I am no longer comfortable with this company... |
Ok Im missing something... Whats going on with Innova? |
Are you sure about this? I haven't heard about any lawsuits. I use to feed Diesel Innova but I switched to Canidae just for a change. I haven't heard anything about Innova. It has always been a very reputable food. |
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=116900 On top of all my "complaints";) , the canned food used to be made at Menu Foods, I believe, and still may be. Please anyone with lawsuit links, post them.:) |
As far as I know, Natura has never had any recalls...not even during the Menu Foods scare |
I am going to look for it.. Tina |
Hi don't know how to link it but it is 2/15...search Innova lawsuit...it will come up . It is under heath and diet. Tina |
I feed mine the Innova EVO dry (turkey based, not red meat) They love it and I have never seen them healthier. Since I just bought a new bag a few days ago, and at $45 a bag, they are staying on it. I have heard nothing but good about it. |
I don't really know what's going on..... and this isn't necessarily legit, but in my search... I found this: http://au.answers.yahoo.com/answers2...8104055AAW0JOQ Thought you all might be interested. The only other thing I've found is from the link that Ellie May posted: http://hubpages.com/hub/Dog-Food-Rev...son-I-Listings |
Because I haven't seen any legitimate allegations against the company yet, I e-mailed a Natura rep that I know. I'll let you know what she says |
I started homecooking for Rocco and Sissy, I do keep a bowl of Innvoa dry out for them. I'm not concerned. |
From what I've read, it isn't something that would get their food recalled. I think it is just that they claim their food is 95% USDA approved or fit for human consumption, but it might not be. I don't think their is anything that serious going on. |
|
I was under the impression that it was based on neglect in the way they process their products. I will read the links later today. Thanks though and any additional info would be vary helpful to us all. Thanks again Tina |
I think it is only fair... that if you have notice of such a dispute or problem that you need to provide evidence of such a dispute as to not create a scare amongst dog owners. If there is no proof or evidence, we can only assume that it is a rumor. I am not trying to be mean, just trying to be realistic and keep the peace. :) |
If you look at the lawsuit it doesn't seem like only the makers of Innova are being sued. Here are a few of them... Mars Proctor and Gamble Colgate Palmolive Hill's Purina Nutro Natura Menu Petsmart Target Wal-mart There are a few others but you get the picture. So it doesn't sound like it is just Innova. Could be a ton of different people that just want something to gripe about who knows. |

Isn't the above link evidence? |

I think people are just tired of them lying about ingredients and using things in their food that shouldn't be in any dog food. It does seem strange though that someone would find this information out about these companies. How do we really know what ingredients they are using? If the people who started the lawsuit hadn't toured the factories, then I don't see how they could know. |
You have a point. It does make you wonder. I use to feed Diesel Innova so I hope there wasn't anything in the food that could have caused damage later on down the road. |

Many pets died as a result of tainted food, other were left with life long medical problems. If this is what it takes to make the pet food industry responsible then I wished I would have joined in the lawsuit. I didn't realize Innova was part of the lawsuit and now wonder if it is really safe.:( |
I personnally do not want my pets to be the experiment of whether this suit is legit or not. I think if these people had a strong enough "gripe" to be able to bring it to the justice system I am not going to "wait" to see if my dogs will survive what ever the "gripe" is. I am switching dog foods this week...in the meantime I will cook for them whenever possibe. Well guys on the look for a better diet for the furkids....if anyone has a packaged brand of dry food that looks safe please inform. Thanks for the info..... Tina |

It does look like it should be really good for them though! Just not for Max. |
