Do you buy Chicken Fillets? Buddy loves them but they are all made in China. I haven't bought them since last summer and I was thinking about him missing them so much. I was wondering if any of you YT'ers do buy them and if they were made in the USA. My pet store has many brands but all made in China and I won't buy them. Thanks lot's, |
I have never heard of doggie grade chicken fillets. Are they anything like our chicken? |

They come in packages of 12 or so. Expensive but worth it. They all seem to be made in China though. A great natural treat but I can't seem to find any made in the USA. The brands are many. Cadet is one and Red Barn is another. Hartz makes them also but all from China. |
Thanks for the explanation.:) I don't like the China thing either.:thumbdown I even bypassed a water bottle a couple months ago because of it. We have no idea what they are using to make them and it isn't worth a health risk. Ellie gets boneless, skinless chicken breast or Amish white meat chicken.:) It's not dried though... |
I do the boneless skinless chicken from the supermarket and cook it for my girls - I make enough to freeze and that's their 'time' with me when we have dinner - they get just enough where they still eat their dry food - but I homecook. it's really not so hard - I cut it and freeze little packets that last me about 4 days each |

Heeey, if you can't find any could you cook up some chicken fillets and dehydrate them yourself if that's the texture you want? Because I just googled it and I don't think you are going to find anything like that made by a company you can trust... |
I am not sure if this is what you are talking about but i buy Rocky these and they are all natural and he loves them. Is your product USDA inspected? We have USDA permits and we have permits in every state in the U.S. In addition to the permits, the department of the USDA called APHIS specifically monitors pet treats and conducts random inspections. Furthermore, we test all of our treats at an independent third-party, FDA-approved laboratory in the United States. http://www.dogswell.com/?id=63 |

V, I do this too. Have been for 2yrs. The chicken fillets I am referring to are dried strips of fillets sold in a package in a pet store and used as treats for the dogs. They are very hard and good for them to chew on. They are 100% chicken, nothing added but all seem to be made in China. They are about 6-7 inches long. Kathryn V sent them to me in a gift package one year and I have been buying them since however since the China scare I have noticed they all seem to be made there. |

Oh thank you. I will keep watch or send me a pm. |
I want to get a dehydrator so I can make my own. |

BTW - The Dogswell are the only brand I buy. They are the only ones that seem to me stay fresh. All the other's I've tried are so dry. PS - I will NOT be making her Flossies given what they are made of - ack! |

YES< YES that's them. Look on the back. I think they are packaged in China as well. I went through all the packages and every one stated China however they were all marked USDA but I would not buy them. |
