I have a few left in the bag and then I won't buy anymore. I might start making at home treats for her so I can bypass all the outside garbage. I know that one of the mommies on here makes the yorkie yummies. I wanted to ask her for the recipe but I am not sure if she would like to share being as she runs a business off of them. Not looking to compete with anyone on sales but being a mother with 3 children and a mortgage and then some I can't always spend the extra on things. I am going to get the book that has the doggie biscuits and treats and make them from there. I know I found a few sites on the web with recipes. I have to just roll up my sleeves and get to work on some. |

You can get all the receipes you want right here on YT. There is a sticky, maybe health and diet, where they are. I got a couple from here and made peanut butter biscuits acouple of weeks ago. Buddy loved them. |
What about the company- I think it's called Buddy Biscuits. I believe they make some type of chicken fillet. |

I'll have to look more carefully tomorrow. |
Yep I am going to check those stickies too. I want to find a meat treat to make her. I know one of the books I saw had stuff that was essentially a human meal that was kind of converted so they could eat it but it was still edible by a human...not sure how much flavor it had being as there are no seasonings in it. |
My two love the Chickenstrips too, and Duckstrips, i buy them at a Dog health store, just checked , yup they are made in China too:rolleyes: |
Cloud Star (the company that makes Buddy Biscuits) does not make chicken filets. The Dogswell ones ARE made in China. They do not make it obvious and it is written in TINY letters on the bottom of their package and hidden on their website. They do not want you to know they are made in China. It is most likely a safe product, but if it's possible to make so many other good treats here there is no reason they can't make the chicken strips here. When I find some I will let you know! Free Range makes some, but they are wrapped with things: http://www.freerangedogchews.com/cat...uct.asp?pid=83 They are made in Brazil. I've hesitated to carry them because they are not made in the USA. Is this an acceptable alternative? If so I will add them to my site. Let me know! I sell Sam's Yams which I think is a good alternative. Obviously it's a veggie and not chicken, but it's 100% sweet potato no fillers no additives and it comes in the same kind of shape so you can let them chew on it or break it into pieces for a treat. |

Erin, Thank you so much for the info. I have purchased the Yams in the past and thought they would be a good alternative however when I opened the package the few in the front were a nice size but the rest were very small. They were not cheap so I did not buy them again. I don't know is it safe to purchase from Brazil? It's amazing how many US companies package in China. I did not realize it until I wanted these chicken fillets. They ALL are packaged there. |
