Just noticed this now, so glad all is ok with your baby, :D gee it is such a worry we all get when we need surguries, They are so much part of the family. :aimeeyork |
My Max goes in first thing in the morning to be neutered. I am so nervous. They said they will call when he comes out of surgery and I wll be picking him up about 2 when I take Missy Moo in for her shots. They said they are going to give him a shot so that he won't need any meds when he come home for the pain? I am very worried he is my little man. I just wish it was over. Hubby keeps saying his going to be mad at me.:( |
Aww, So glad she came thu the surgery fine. You really did make the right decision on having her spade. Prayers for Delilah to get well soon. :getwellso |

Praise the Lord!! Yea! |
Hang in there! Jolie was back to herself the next morning. She had 9 teeth pulled (all puppy teeth!) and spay. First day home she was shaking and sleepy but the next morning she was bouncing around like nothing happened. I was worried sick that she was going to open up her suture! I have an appointment for Jen next Monday so I'll be going through it again. It's so scary! |
Glad to here all is well. Wishing for a speedy recovery. |

He definately knows something is going on he keeps going to where his food and water bowl usually are then he looks at me like "UH do you see that my food is missing???" LOL Glad that your Delilah is doing so good. |
I took Bo in last month to be neutered and have two teeth pulled. He was still groggy when I picked him up, and he looked at me as if to say, "I don't know what I did, but I promise I won't ever do it again!" He didn't even have enough muscle tone to get his ears to the top of his head and he was so whiney. I felt terrible, in spite of knowing that the surgery was what was best for him. I took him home and cuddled him all night. Next morning he was fine. I was amazed at how quick he bounced back and I do mean bounced. :) Your little ones will surprise you, too! |
Well some of you said your babies were back to normal the next day, but Delilah sure is not. She whined a lot last night, but today she is still not moving very well. She can walk a little, but she has a really hard time laying down. She will just stand there until I help her down. She just kind of stares and shakes. Maybe it is from the pain meds, I don't know. I feel so terrible, because she doesn't understand what happened. She went from a bouncy, playful pup, to one that is hardly moving. I hope tomorrow will bring some better news. |
