Hallie Needs Some Prayers~
 
or maybe it's me :( Hallie has retinal dysplasia and is going blind. She has lost all vision in her left eye. We are going to see an opthmalagist in January but I am really sad at the thought of my baby girl not being able to see.

Let me say this though, I am very optimistic in the sense that it is only vision. In the scheme of life it could be a lot worse and we will do what we need to do the adjust but she is only 5 and this is really hard for me.

I'm not a very religious person but I have seen what YT prayers can do and I hope it's not too much trouble to ask for some.

Oh Kimberly. Layla and I are sending you prayers and love and good thoughts. It must be devastating to get that kind of news. Especially when she is so young. But i know with Layla, she doens't light up when she sees me.. its when she hears my voice that her little ears go up and her eyes light up and i'm sure Hallie is the same :) I hope that when you go see the specialist in the new year there is something they can do to help. Stay strong. Hallie needs to know that everything is a-ok :) Sending our love. Marci and Layla

oh Kimberly, I am terribly sorry to hear the news . . .is this unexpected and just happened or is this something you knew was going to be inevitable. I must have missed the thread if it is . . . My darling duo and myself send warm hugs and kisses to Hallie . . .You know the most important sense to a dog is its sense of smell . . .so even if she no longer can see, she will know when you are there . . . . always!

I am thinking of little Hallie and hoping for the best when she sees the optomologist. Hopefully, there is something that can be done. If not, she will adjust because she has a lot of love from her mom and her brother.

Kimberly, I\'m so sorry to hear that about Hallie. :( Miracles do happen and I will say a prayer that Hallie\'s eye sight doesn\'t get any worse. :hands: Take Care....

Sending warm thoughts to you and Hallie. Charlie had a rescue brother who was blind from cataracts. Dudley moved a bit slower, but he had no trouble getting around and finding the treat that was waiting for him.
