Haha, yeah, I know there is some disagreement on this part, but I totally respect your opinion and resources. No matter what, we are all doing a better thing by feeding raw and helping others! :thumbup:

Ok, everyone! I finally decided to go RAW! I bought a bag of NV organic chicken tonight!! :p I took out 3 pieces, total 3 oz (not sure if I am feeding Chloe too much since the calculator says only 2.6oz for her?) and defrost it in the fridge overnight. It should be ready for her to eat tomorrow. I am thinking feeding her 2x a day (2 for breakfast and 1 for dinner). What do you guys think of this feeding schedule?

Now, let's hope Chloe will eat it tomorrow and won't have any stomach problem afterwards!!!

I am so nervous about this still! :p

Also, how long should I expect her to have loose stool? How long is too long?

Good Luck! I think that feeding schedule is fine. You can start with 3....if you think she's starting to gain weight you can cut back some if you need to.

Well, she really shouldn't have loose stool at all. I know Lacy didn't. But every dog is different so it could happen. I would give her some canned pumpkin if you notice loose stool..it's good for both diarrhea and constipation. I think that if she does have loose stool, her digestive system ought to adjust to the new diet within a few days

Nope you don't need to, because the NV already has ground up raw bones in it.

Hopefully she won't have it at all, but if she does then give her a little bit of canned pumpkin or live yogurt to help her digestive system adjust.

Wid adjusted incredibly well to NV rabbit. The only time he has loose stool is if I overfeed him.

He LOVES it!
