What about deer liver and heart,I had the boys save them for me just in case? They have been trying to get at the deer hanging in the tree.Jc our biggest was out trying to eat the hooves.

I don't know what to say on the subject except WHAT KIND do I feed lolol I want to buy more than just ground up meat. What would I specifically ask for?

Organ meats- liver and kidney from any animal, or even beef sweetbreads or lungs if you can get them. Be careful not to give too much organ meat at first as it will result in bad runny poop, I give a small amount 1-2 times a week.

BTW, heart is GREAT but it is classes as a muscle meat, not organ.

Interesting question, sometimes they are the glands located behind the breast bone, in the upper chest or near the heart. They can also be the testicles, depends on where in the world you are lol, in both cases though, they are organ meat LOL.

I am glad the boys and brett saved them then.The livers are HUGE hearts not as big but alot tougher.
Do any of you feed the NV dry food or both? Dont know of any one around here who has the dry.I was just reading about it today didnt know they made a dry food? Is that dry better than the regular dog food?

so i noticed that in reese's poop there was small bone fragments from the NV. Is that ok?? It was very light in color too...
