| I bought a tooth care kit with a tooth brush and a finger cover brush! Macy loves the finger tooth brush and the taste of the toothpaste. I just let her lick the toothpaste off the brush at first then started slowly brushing the sides of her teeth and now she lets me in the whole mouth. Just don't give up and take it slow...I haven't tried the toothbrush yet but when she gets older I imagen I will. Have a great day!

| My Vet suggested putting the toothpaste on a moistened gauze pad and rubbing the teeth with it... sometimes works better on small pups. Good Luck! Terry Moxie's Mom |

| My vet even suggested putting the toothpaste on a q-tip.

| Try taking her in the bathroom with you when you brush your teeth and just watch the way she looks at you while you are doing it! I always brush my teeth first and she watches me and then she gets her teeth brushed. At least, we make a good stab at it! I just keep going with what she's comfortable with. She's just 3 months old, so her teeth aren't all in yet and I'm certain it can't be comfortable in every spot. But she let's me do it pretty good because she sees me doing it. You know, if you get something then they want it, too. |

| thanks for all of your suggestions!! so far i've done what yorkie usa suggested.. she didn't really watch me.. but i think with sometime it may improve so i'll keep working at it.. I'm currently using the finer brush and tooth paste.. unfortunately my yorkie doesn't enjoy the taste as much as JeniferLee..i'll try the gauze and Q-tip.. hopefully they work! thanks again everyone for your suggestions!! |
