Grooming photos and tips Quincey is 4 months old now and I can do the basic hair trimming at home but not sure how he is supposed to look at this age. Does anyone have photos? I am curious about the face, the rest I would like to grow. I had pom-a-poos with the seepy eyes etc. and close trimming around the eyes and snout was a must. Right now I can't see Quincey's eyes through the hair. Should I let it grow of trim it off??? |

Which blades do you use for what, and how do you know how to use the coolant and cleaner? The reason I ask is because I came on today to specifically research clippers. I have a friend with 4 yorkies (I have two) and she has gone through 3 sets of clippers! They keep quitting on her. I'm wondering if she needs to do some maintenance on them that she is unaware of or something. Thanks!!! deb |

you are most welcome :) |
A Really Good Book... There is a really good book that I just got a couple of weeks ago. It's called "How To Groom A Yorkshire Terrier Perfectly.: It's written by Tammy Sprinkle. It seems a bit hard to find but I got mine on ebay. I think shipped it was just under $30. but well worth it. It gives you step by step instructions on everything and it also gives you advice and sites to buy your stuff from. I was very pleased with it and sorry that it took me so long to buy it. I'd really reccomend it to anyone, even those that take their dogs to be groomed. Elaine |
