Have you ever seen them in wraps? Coat is just oily and then you wrap the dog but if you haven't seen them wrapped then I can take a picture of him in wraps later lol and send them to you :) Or if anyone else has one in wraps feel free to show :)

I don't know if U ever posted a photo of U're baby in wraps but if U did could U put the link here or post photos of U're baby in wraps? I'd love to see it. Hugs

I must have ESP, have been on the internet trying to figure out what type of coat Tricksie has and saw this thread.
Her hair is silky but wavy. She is 18 months old and I am letting her hair grow out. I use conditioner mixed with water before I brush her everyday. Can't wait to see what it will look like when it grows to the floor.

I use a Conditioning Shampoo, Conditioner, Almond Oil & Water Rinse & a Leave-In Detangler. It is very hard to brush or Comb even when wet.

The 1st & 2nd pictures of her now at 6 mths old - the last one is her at 2 months old.
Well Stormy just made 1 year old last week & she seems to be a Silky Coat.
Her hair is nearly touching the floor now!
I am still using Mary's (Mardelin's) advice that was given to me on grooming my Lil Furbabies.

Mary's internet won't be up for a few weeks. She's too busy unpacking and trying to get her new house set up right now, but I will pass the word on to her. She'll be happy to hear she was of help to you. Don't know what I'd do without her advice..lol Stormy looks great!

She must get that beautiful coat from her grandpaw Squeakers!
I really thought she would stay dark - remember her really dark face she had as a puppy.

PS... I'm in love with Toy!!! He's so Handsome!!!

I haven't got a pic of him in wrappers yet LOL...but I will try tomorrow

Tami, he is a living doll! So cute. I got some wraps, paper ones and bands but don't need to use them yet as none of their coats are to the floor yet, altho Sofies' is getting pretty long. And when I do I'll have to train the others not to pull them out!

So are there some of you that use the oil and don't have show dogs?

Yes I have to on Sage, Teddy and Galahad as their coats are dry. Sages' breaks so easily. I use the Seabreeze Oil, Pet Silk Liquid Silk Serum & the C&C Silk Spirits, it doesn't take very much to put on them. I do notice when I use the Seabreeze Oil mine tend to scratch more why I don't know so I don't use it as much as the other 2. I don't show any babies but I want beautiful coats. I do know it is a job to keep coats up when long.
