if you are keeping your yorkie's fur short (1-3 inches) , how do you comb and part their hair ? do you "draw a line" with the comb frim his neck, to tail and comb it down on each side ? or do you just comb from the neck to the tail straight down ?

if that doesnt make sense to you, just tell me and i will have pics posted describing them .

if you understand, which do you do ?

I just brush it straight down. There's no part, but it looks cute.

Well... to each his own... I think its really whatever you prefer. I usually comb in the direction of Meka's hair... For example... from the back of her head, I go straight back to the tail... then down on the sides and legs... Works for me 8)

I don't do a part, I just start at the head, and go down.

brownie hair is short right now but when he had a part it didnt matter which way when he shook it went right back to a straight line
usally i start from the Ends of the hair up to the part
