getting the eye bugers out I have a small flea comb and i was just wondering if that would work to get out the eye bugers out of spencers face. he wont let me trim them out of his face with the hand trimmer or the little scissors we have. thanks for the help guys |
I think I saw that mentioned in another post. A flea comb should work. Gracie won't let me near her eyes with anything but a wash cloth. So I just use a warm wet wash cloth and it comes out fairly easily. |
flea combs work. I use one of those little wooden shoe polish brushes and brush it out of their hair when I bathe them. |
I used a baby wipe today to get Sugar's eye boogers. I wasn't sure if that was okay, but I made sure not to get it into her eyes. It seemed to work really well. Can anyone let me know if this isn't a good idea. Thanks! |
I don't recommend using a scissors anywhere near their eyes, mostly bc they can get hurt. But also, when you trim their surrounding eye hair short and "pokey" - it can often poke into their eye and make even more eye gunk and irritation. Use warm water, a cloth and/or a finger toothbrush (this is what I use). |
On Diesel we are using these extra gentle pet wipes from Perkin to get the eye crust. They are good to use on his face, ear, eyes and body |
I don't use a brush or comb; I use these pads I got from Petsmart. Tear Clear Stain remover pads. They take out the eye boogers really easy. I just wipe down from below her eye down her snout. It dissolves them really easily. I use it before putting her in the bath. |
We use a tiny small handled flea comb and then use eye wipes from Petsmart. My hubby is always making sure that they are "booger free". |
flea comb works the best for me |
I been using a warm wash cloth, then while its still wet, I use a flea comb. |
I use warm q tips :) it works |
The small flea comb works great on Winston, Ive used this for years. |
I just bought Eye Envy. It works to keep the buggers off, but the red stain is still there. It says to use it for a while and it will remove the stains too. Maybe! |
eye envy I just bought the eye envy too. I used it for the first time last night. It said it may take a few times before the stains come out. I hope it works. Let me know how it works for you.:) |
I use the CC comb, the side that is real close together and it works well. |
