How often do you wash your yorkie? I have a question. How often do you wash your yorkie? |
Everybody gets a bath every Friday night whether they need it or not! Needless to say, they always need it! Actually, I came home from work today and discovered that Ted has a mushed up Skittle candy matted into one of his paws! After a thorough interrogation, my 7 year old fessed up that he had accidently left a little pile of Skittles on the end table this morning... and guess who got them??? :tongue4: |
About every 4 days, sometimes longer, sometimes sooner. She gets a bath if she is dirty or smelly and usually by the 4th days she is both. I do brush daily and wash her face and bottom daily too, but she has really oily skin so she needs a bath more often than most. |

once a week usually on saturdays are the day i clean everything !! :D but give a take depends on the weather it's either once or twice if it's rainy or snowing here. :p |

I started out with once a week, now it is every 2 weeks and she goes to the groomers every 6 weeks. If it weren't for my pomeranian licking her to death I could probably do it every 3 weeks. |

This is so good to know, I had heard no more than once a month but she gets her head really greasy so I am glad there are yorkies out there getting baths once a week and they are nice, healthy, and clean! :p |
Sunday like clockwork. If they need it before due to some unforseen issue (mud slinging) then it will be before then. |

Every other Saturday. Buddy holds up very well:) He smells yummy all the time . I wipe his feet off after each walk also because he's up on the furniture. Other than that there is no way of him getting dirty. He's coat is more dry on the second week but never oily. |
My three get washed once a week, unless I am going visiting with them....then they get spruced up if they haven't been washed for 3 days or more, or unless we have been in woods (twigs, mud and lychin in coat) or on the beach !(all that awful sand ruins their coat.) My two girlies are long-haired to the ground, and my wee male has also been long, but lately has been clipped short as he's bad for peeing on his curtains....so it was better to chop them off than continually washing his legs, etc, every time he was out for the toilet !!! :D :animal-pa DEBRA |

Bailey gets bathed every 2-3 weeks.....a month being the max....Bailey is a "indoor" baby he never goes outside and if he does its in his stroller :) |

Every 5 to 7 days...there is no way he could go longer...or I guess I should say, I will not let him go more than 5 to 7 days without a bath. This is just me....I am all about keeping him nice and clean. |

every week here.. we do it on fridays as I'm almost always off.. but If I can't do it on a friday.. it's sundays |
Started out once a week. Now its once every 2 weeks. I do wipe him with baby wipes and wash his feet after every walk and clean his eyes and pee/poo area daily. I find that bathing him weekly makes him too dry eventhough I do use Emu Oil. Once every 2 weeks is just nice for him. |
