| Topknot grooming aid? Someone mentioned that groomers have this little tool to help get the rubberband in. I've had a rough time having Kona sit still for me to get rubberbands in her hair. Has anyone used this tool? Do you know where to buy it? Is it worth it? |

| Do you have any idea what it looks like or what it does?? I've seen small neck pillows for dogs. It helps to keep their heads straight and supported so you can get the bows in straight... No idea where you'd buy one though! |

| Thought of another thing.... Are you thinking of a hemostats? It could be used to stretch really small rubber bands to make it easier to get in their hair... I managed to find a photo example! |

| I have no idea what it looks like... but maybe that 2nd thing that you showed... hmm I don't know if that will help. I think I just need a 2nd pair of hands. |

| I've heard of people using a crochet hook with the small bands, could that be it?

Maybe they use the hemostat to clamp and hold the hair while they put the band in. | |

| Speaking of topknots, someone posted a while back about the type of scrunchies to get but didn't give the brand name. Does anyone know that one or where we can get the proper bands to use? What I am using, she gets out very quickly. |

| top knots Crochet hooks work well to grasp the small bands..but a wiggley pup just has to learn to sit still, it will come with time..good luck |

| Groomers use the hemostats to put little bows in poodles where you are just attaching the band to a little bit of fur. I've tried using them on yorkies and found they don't work too well on longer hair. The best tool I have found for putting in topknots is a second pair of hands to hold the dogs head still.
