| ![]() So I'm looking into learning to groom my baby myself and was curious about clippers. Can you use clippers humans use on a dog? We have a very pricey high end set already so I was curious what the difference was. Also does anyone know of a good guide of video showing how to do a sanitary trim on your puppy and basic grooming? Gizmo will need a trim very soon. Thanks for.the info in advance and I hope everyone has a wonderful happy healthy 2016. |

| ![]() I use the same clippers on my husband as I do on my Yorkie. Just a basic Wahl set.

| ![]() As for videos, I just watched a bunch of YouTube videos on dog grooming before I tried it or myself.

| ![]() Difference Between Dog Clippers and Human Clippers | Difference Between | Dog Clippers vs Human Clippers For Yorkies, since they have hair similar to ours' (no double coat), I guess it's ok to use human clippers. I think the blades are different too.
